Gonzalo Torrente Ballester manuscripts, 1954-1964.

Includes two manuscripts written by the contemporary Spanish novelist journalist Gonzalo Torrente Ballester while living in Madrid during the period 1947-64: (1) "Mi fuero interno" (or "My Inmost Conscience"), a three-volume journal kept from December 26, 1954, to June 7, 1964, in Spain under Generalisimo Francisco Franco; and (2) "Don Juan", two typescripts with handwritten changes and corrections, one of which was reviewed and by Spanish official censors but was nevertheless published without deletions in Barcelona in 1963.
