Records from the Committee on Fellowship of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, 1964 to 1990, including agendas and minutes from meetings of the committee; reports, lists, and correspondence documenting the procedure for electing new Fellows; unsuccessful Fellowship applications; and material on the College's Continuing Medical Education and Annual Giving programs. Series 6 contains form letters sent to new Fellows and their sponsors explaining the induction process. Series 7 contains numerous Fellowship applications submitted by individuals who never became Fellows of the College. Included are withdrawn applications; applications without follow ups or sponsors; deferred, rejected, or incomplete applications; and applications for which dues were never sent. Many of the applications include resumes and photographs of candidates. Applications for Continuing Medical Education Credits are present in Series 8. Series 9 contains correspondence, memoranda, form letters, and solicitation letters pertaining to the Annual Giving Campaign of the College of Physicians. Miscellaneous material is contained in Series 10.
