General fund ledgers of cash receipts and allocations, 1778-1881.

Volumes record cash received into the treasury. Volumes 1 and 2 record cash disbursements from the treasury as well (see entry 24 for the remainder of the disbursements). Volumes 1 through 8 record each instance of cash received by source of income, while volumes 9 through 14 record only monthly totals for each source of income. Volumes 9 through 14 are arranged chronologically by quarter of the fiscal year, showing monthly subtotals for each source of income as well as the funds and accounts to which the money was allocated. Volume 9 records only the sources of income. See entry 14 for the years 1881-1927.
