Account book, 1764-1785.

Records financial transactions and other miscellaneous information pertaining to Leaming's business ventures and purchases for himself and family members. An agreement regarding the purchase of a sawmill and its subsequent rental is included along with numerous references to such agricultural activities as pasturing cows, mowing grass, and harvesting crops. Leaming also recorded the schooling of his apprentices, inoculating his children for small pox, and having clothes and shoes made for various family members. Loose items, including a bill for silver spoons, are laid in the volume.
