28 photographs of contestants for the title of Miss (Indian) America, a competition held annually in Sheridan, Wyoming, as part of the All American Indian Days festival, together with three photographs of Native American men and judges. Most of the photographs are of contest winners, with several group shots. Many are identified by name, tribe, and date. 12 photographs (salt prints) of Ogallala Sioux men posed for formal portraits. Copyright, Heyn Photo, varies from 1898-1900. Most of the prints bear the signature of Maurice M. Frink, and the date of 1909 or 1910 on the back.
