A note apparently written by Morris for the catalogue of his library. Describes the type and decoration of a book in Günther Zainer's second gothic type, perhaps St. Jerome, De essentia divinitatis (Augsburg: Günther Zainer, [1473?]). Zainer's type influenced the design of Morris's Troy type.
