Secretary John Moffat's correspondence, 1913-1918.

This series consists of correspondence created by or received by John Moffat, who alternated in the capacity of Secretary to the Governor and Recording Secretary for Governors Emmet O'Neal and Charles Henderson. Some of the correspondence reflects Moffat's responsibilities as the governor's secretary. A large portion of this correspondence, however, is in regard to Moffat's candidacy for Secretary of State in 1917.
