Record of examination books, 1884-1919.

These books were used to record students' grades by teacher and class (manual or oral). Entries include pupil's name, subjects (history, arithmetic, language, picture description, lip reading, etc.), and remarks by teacher concerning transfers, absences, illnesses, death, and conduct. One book contains separate entries for white and black students.
