Copies of the documents relating to the lawsuits or other court actions involving lands or rights over lands. A large number of the suits were brought by one member of the Nugent family against another. The plaintiffs and defendants include Robert Nugent of Carlanstown (fl. 1653-1661), Edmund Nugent (fl. 1661-1703), John Knight, Henry Hyde, 2nd Earl of Clarendon, Michael Nugent, and his son, Robert Nugent, 1st Earl of Nugent (1702-1788). Most of the records are incomplete.
