Letter from the executive secretary of the Central Relief Committee (Albert Lucas?) to Theodore Roosevelt asking him to address a fundraising meeting planned for Dec. 28, 1915 in Carnegie Hall, and Roosevelt's reply, from Oyster Bay, Long Island, in the negative. Both letters are typed, but Roosevelt's signature appears on the bottom of his reply.
