This series was created as an index to the Governor's correspondence files and cross references the letters received by the name of the individual sending the letter. Each card lists the name of the person writing the letter to the Governor, the date or dates letters were received from the individual, and the number assigned to the letter or letters when they were received.

George Corley Wallace Jr. (August 25, 1919 – September 13, 1998) was an American politician who served as the 45th Governor of Alabama for four terms.
