Account book, 1818-1828.

Records debits and credits accrued by Abraham Vreeland from 1818 to 1823 in both New York and Savannah. Lighting fixtures, sashes in different shapes, fans, lamps, medicine chests, blinds, boards, handsaws, and glazing are mentioned. When John Vreeland took over the volume in 1823 he wrote in comments about his life in Savannah. Entries made by Jackson record purchases of screws, glass, sash planes, lumber, chisels, nails, candles, oil, etc.

Abraham Vreeland was a sashmaker, glazier, and manufacturer of architectural woodwork in New York and Savannah, Ga. In 1823, John Vreeland received the account book and seems to have taken over the business.
