Contains information about an investigation conducted by members of UNRRA Team 502 as a result of a riot on 29 Mar 1946 by Jewish members of a displaced persons center in Stuttgart, Germany, of which Harry Lerner was the director. US Military Government officials had authorized the German police to raid the center, and subsequent action resulted in the death of one Jewish displaced person and injuries to three others.

Harry V. Lerner was born in Memphis, Nebraska. Prior to World War II, he was an attorney in Omaha, Nebraska. During World War II, he served in the US Army in Europe.
