The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) provides wholesale water and sewer services to Boston and sixty other communities, and rehabilitates and reconstructs area water supply and sewage treatment facilitites to preserve public health and protect natural resources. In fulfilling these responsibilities, the Executive Division publicizes MWRA goals and objectives to increase public support for water conservation and resource preservation and acts as a liaison to communicate in the service area. Series is created by the division's Public Affairs Dept. to identify and resolve community issues relating to MWRA projects.
