A plantation record book (1894) contains accounts reflecting payments made to laborers for cotton picked and work in turnip patch, as well as purchases made by laborers and crop estimates. Also included is a school notebook belonging to Arthur Crisfield of Princess Anna, Maryland, in which Latin translations were written. It is unknown what relationship Crisfield had to Salisbury Plantation. The loose item is a letter from Seymoura Scudder to Mrs. Shepherd of Salisbury Plantation commenting on house guests, plans for a trip to Tennessee, and appreciation for kindness to daughter Celeste.
