Included is a 1662 agreement, several deeds for land in the town of Southampton, Suffolk County, several business papers of Apollos Harris including an 1831 indenture of Sarah Duey to Apollos Harris and a large amount of family correspondence to Stephen Harris.

George Harris was born in Brisbane in 1845 and grew up in Ipswich. He worked on bullock teams delivering goods, and then worked in the timber trade, hauling and rafting timber.
