Daughters of the American Revolution blacklist controversy papers, 1928.

Pamphlets, newsclippings, articles and correspondence relating to the 1928 alleged D.A.R. blacklist of men and women accused of being communists, socialists and liberals and/or pacifists who would not be welcome as speakers before D.A.R. members. Inclusion of Stanford President David Starr Jordan on this list prompted the Palo Alto Chapter of the D.A.R. to resign its membership in the national organization.
