Included are approximately ten manuscript recipe books, ca. 18th and 19th centuries. These are unattributed except for one, ca. 1890s, attributed to Mrs. Digby Walsh (probably Bath, England), and another to Charlotte Maria Alderson , 1823. Recipes are for foods, medicines and invalid foods, wine, and household cleaning substances. Some loose recipes and clippings of recipes are also included.
