William Trowbridge used the blank pages in the back of the 1706 Clough's almanac to record weaving patterns and instructions. Patterns mentioned include shallon, drugget, and "the new fashion stuff." Also included are a family genealogy listing his children and slaves, and some poetry dated 1753 that appears in a different hand. The remainder of the volume was used to record the inventory of belongings of both Mary Coolidge and Trowbridge's daughter, Huldah, upon their marriages.
