Subject index to Virginia records in the series of photographic copies of state records, 1775-1783.

This index was prepared in the Adjutant General's Office sometime after 1913. It is an index to names of vessels, places, organizations, and miscellaneous subjects such as counterfeiters, the Declaration of Independence, an prisoners of war. In addition to a subject and the number of the record, some of the entries give the date and a summary of the contents of the record.
