Student notebook, ca. 1849, of lectures on didactic theology given by Samuel Alexander Van Vranken at New Brunswick Theological Seminary. Accompanying the volume is a commonplace book, ca. 1856, of his brother, Mason Romeyn Strong, kept while attending the same institution. The latter volume includes notes of lectures by William H. Campbell, Professor of Biblical Literature.
