Browne Brothers. Papers, 1757-1765.

Six letters written by Francis Browne (1757-63), 16 written by Richard (1757-65), and one by their father, Jeremiah, to Richard. Francis' letters include excellent descriptions of his service in North America, including descriptions of Halifax and Fort Cumberland, the GaspeĢ expedition, and a fine description of the Siege of Havana.
