Holograph notebook of an unknown medical student of the eighteenth century who studied at the UniversiteĢ de Montpellier, France. Subjects covered include venereal disease, epilepsy, mania, fluxes, orthopaedics, dentistry, asthma, pharmaceutics, materia medica, and chemistry. Also included is the transcript (copied from earlier notes by Master Sylva) of a long discourse on pathology by Pierre Chirac who taught medicine at Montpellier, 1687-1706.
