Collection of engravings, including proof impressions for The Token : A Christmas and New Year's Present, published by Carter & Hendee in Boston, Ma., 1830. Engravings for The Token show children and young adults posed or engaged in activities. The original artist and painting title is written in ink on the back of each. The remaining illustrations appear to be European in origin and depict interiors of churches, castles, and other buldings. Several were published by Fisher, Son, Co. of London and Paris.
