Enrolled bills, 1879-1883.

These are transcripts of acts and resolutions passed by the General Assembly; signed by representatives of the Senate and House of Representatives; and approved, dated, and signed into law by Governor Luke P. Blackburn. These typically concern the structure of the educational system; the navigation of Kentucky's waterways; the construction and maintainance of roads; the incorporation of towns, businesses, and organizations; the determination of state boundaries; the formation of election districts; and appropriations for state funding. Also included are acts providing for relief of the state penitentiary; an act to continue the Kentucky Geological Survey; and an act to limit spectators at public executions to fifty persons.
