The records are a sample from the files of Harry J. Haon, manager of Du Pont's European Office in London. The primarily concern British taxation of foreign corporations and the British and American tax liabilities of American executives working in Britain. There is one small file from each of Haon's predecesssors, C.A.Grasselli II (1939) and F.A.C. Wardenburg (1945-1948). The Grasselli file describes the forced closure of the office after the outbreak of World War II.
