This series contains the file copies of press releases made by the governor's office. These releases consist of the release itself and occasionally some accompanying material such as copies of proposed legislation or speeches. There are also copies of Governor Hunt's radio addresses. One folder of correspondence contains duplicates regarding 1993 appointments. This information was probably used by the staff to prepare press releases. Subjects include: state employees, taxes, tourism, and the 1989 tornado that struck Huntsville, Alabama.
