The Department of Post-Secondary Education is committed to equal access for women and men in vocational education programs. The Sex Bias Elimination Program seeks to fulfill this commitment by funding projects within the college system. These projects may include: programs, services, comprehensive career guidance and counseling, and activities to eliminate sex bias and stereotyping; preparatory services (services, programs, or activities designed to assist individuals who are not enrolled in vocational education or training programs) and vocational education programs, services and activities for girls and women aged 14 through 25, designed to enable the participants to support themselves and their families; and support for the services and activities described above through dependent care services and transportation.
