Estate records, 1844-1883.

Consists of two volumes: a receipt book kept by Nathan Kite from 1844 to 1867 as a trustee for several estates in Philadelphia and a memorandum book relating to the settlement of Kite's own estate, 1867-1883. Many of the entries in the receipt book are related to the estates of Henry Drinker, William Drinker, and Mary Rhoads and simply document amounts paid from interest, sales, etc. The second volume lists legal expenses, payments made by executors (Hannah Kite and Joseph Walton) for outstanding bills, sales of property, and other expenditures.
