Record, 1910-1969.

The Ala. Court of Appeals was established by an act of the 1911 Legislature. At that time, appropriate Supreme Court cases were transferred to the new court. Thus, the bound volumes of records indicate 1910 Nov. session of the court because of cases which originated in the Supreme Court prior to 1911. Even so, there is some mingling of 1910 and 1911 cases in the 1910 and 1911 volumes. These records are bound transcripts of civil and criminal cases tried by lower courts (circuit court, city court, etc.) and then appealed to the Court of Appeals. The title page of each case has written notations about the Court of Appeals' disposition of the case.

1,544 volumes.
