Abstract

This series consists of records which depict some of the functions of the Branch Bank at Decatur. Included are a land deed (indenture), county court records such as court proceedings and subpoenas, notices of seizure of land and slaves from the Branch Bank's debtors, and notices to sheriffs to bring the Branch Bank's debtors to court.
