Three papers: 1) William B. Ide, reminiscences addressed to Senator Wambaugh, n.d., not completed, 62 pp.; 2) typescript by Mary Sheldon Barnes of her notes of interviews with various old settlers in the Napa Valley, 1892, 5 pp; and 3) William Baldridge manuscript, 1893, 36 pp. Includes two letters by Sarah E. Ide Healy, about her father William, a major participant in the revolt, and her uncle Simon, of whom there is also a photograph.

His career included terms as member of the board of editors for the American Political Science Review (1906-1913), special counsel to the U.S. State Department (1914), delegate to the Pan American Scientific Congress (1915-1916) and Counsel of the Peruvian Government on Tacna-Arica Plebiscite (1925-26).
