Five diary entries made at Amherst College, June--Nov. 1857, followed by valedictory and nature poems, one of which is dated Bangor (Me.) Theological Seminary, Jan. 1861. Three laid-in items removed: a eulogy of the author by a friend (4 p.) and 2 poems with notes (to "Mary" and "Delta Kappa Sigma," the former dated Jan. 1861).
