The records consist of 288 volumes of memoranda of the British Cabinet Office, 1915-1939. Cabinet memoranda were the papers circulated to members of the Cabinet by individual ministers before the discussion of major problems or questions of policy. Included are the "G" Series, the "G.T." Series, the "C.P." Series, and the Foreign Reports (further divided as the Eastern Reports, the West and General Reports, the British Empire Reports, and the Foreign Countries Reports). The records constitute Public Record Office group Cabinet Office class 24 (PRO CAB 24).
