Correspondence: from John J. Frobel and Thomas Blanchard, 1804.

John J. Frobel writes to Benjamin Crowninshield expressing his regrets at not being in Richmond to meet him, a friend of his nephew. Thomas Blanchard writes from Norfolk requesting an explanation concerning money missing from a letter delivered by Crowninshield to Mr. Newsum. He is concerned about Crowninshield's reputation and surmises that it may be a plot to ruin him because he is the first Yankee to enroll at the College of William and Mary.
