Publicly-owned land inventory, 1940-1942.

The State Planning Commission was charged with preparing a master plan for the economic development of the state. An inventory of all publicly-owned lands was necessary to determine the extent of the state's holdings and the land not available for development. This series is comprised of county reports which include lands held by state, federal, or local governments or agencies, acreage computations, and maps. These were prepared in cooperation with the Works Projects Administration.
