Bill histories, 1971-1973.

Bill histories are a register of House bills, Senate bills, House joint resolutions, Senate joint resolutions, and amendments, that have passed both the House and the Senate, compiled by the Governor's office for the Governor and the Secretary of State. Included are: bill or resolution number, a short description of the bill or resolution, name(s) of the House or Senate members who introduced the bill, the number the bill was assigned at the Governor's office and the time it was received there, date and time the bill was approved by the Governor and his/her signature, and the number the bill was assigned by the Secretary of State and the time it was received there. By having the year, bill number, and type of session, this series can be cross-referenced to the bill descriptions in the House and Senate registers.

A plank road or puncheon is a dirt path or road covered with a series of planks, similar to the wooden sidewalks one would see in a Western movie.
