Letter to George S. Gibbs, 1903.

At Gibbs request Johnson wrote this letter describing his association with the LDS church and in particular the practice of plural marriage in Nauvoo. A copy retained by Gibbs was destroyed in a fire, but the original, from which this typescript was taken, survived. A summary of the letter's provenence is included by transcriber Charles Sellers.
