Photocopy of a typewritten and signed letter, dated 22 March 1892, and addressed to Wilford Woodruff, the fourth president of the Mormon Church. Snow seeks appoval of the decision to organize the Beaver Dam settlement into a ward of the Mormon Church.

Lorenzo Snow was born 3 April 1814 in Mantua, Ohio. After being baptized a member of the Church, he served a mission in Ohio and the Eastern States. He was ordained to the office of Seventy in 1840. He served as President of the United Order in Brigham City from 1874-1886. He was ordained an apostle in 1849, after which he served missions to England and Europe.
