Interview conducted by Jessie L. Embry as part of the LDS German-Speaking Immigrants Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 10 February 1987. Hurst talks about growing up in the "Little Berlin" area of Logan, Utah and attending the Mormon Logan Tenth Ward. She talks about her parents' immigration to the United States, memories of the Logan Tenth Ward, memories of the Mormon German-speaking branch in Logan, Utah, and family life in a Swiss immigrant home.
