Oral history, 1988.

Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Afro-American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 17 March 1988. Willis talks about growing up in St. Louis, Missouri and East St. Louis, Illinois. He discusses his educational experiences, his training as a Methodist minister, and his courtship, marriage, and children. He explains his conversion to the Mormon Church and comments on the experiences of other black Mormons.
