Letter to General Stephen Van Rensselaer discussing the progress of the war and the aftermath of the Battle of Queenston. Lovett also discusses the behavior of the Indians who had come to the Niagara Frontier to assist in the war effort. He also discusses his health and other activities at the hospital in which he is confined. Written at Buffalo, N.Y.
