This collection primarily consists of business records of various enterprises in which Jesse Dayton was involved. Among these businesses were petroleum companies, wholesale liquor and distillery businesses, and dairying. Dayton was also an official in Watervliet town government and the collection contains several volumes of Watervliet town records.
