Annual reports of the Comptroller General, 1800-1865.

Each annual report consists of a summary covering report and enclosures. The covering report lists all documents included. Enclosures cover a variety of subjects, some specially limited to a year, while others are called for yearly. The Comptroller regularly submitted such enclosures as monthly and yearly reports of treasurers' receipts, estimates of debts and resources of payment of the state, statements showing taxable property in each collection district and the net amount of tax produced, accounts of the Civil and Military Engineers, statements on the sinking fund, and reports on the three and six percent stock.
