William Doane Frazier, surgeon and specialist in industrial medicine, was born in Atlantic City, N.J., in 1908. He was the son of neurosurgeon Charles H. Frazier and Mary Spring Gardiner Frazier. Frazier received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1934 and was a resident at Geisinger Memorial Hospital in Danville, Pa.
