Consumers' Research technical files--laboratory notebooks, 1935-1980.

The Consumers' Research laboratory notebooks were used by staff technicans to record data developed and measured during the testing of products. These notebooks include handwritten notes, testing results, loose papers, photographs, drawings, product or packaging fragments, charts, and daily progress statistics. The product test results in this series are represented in the Technical Files. Dispersed throughout the Technical Files are additional laboratory notebooks pertaining to specific products. The notebooks in this series are organized by staff member and contain product tests. Indexes or listings of products tested are included in most of the notebooks.
