The records document Consumers' Research's interest and assistance in providing consumer education to schools and the public. The records include correpondence, curriculae, slides, scripts for slide shows, parts of theses and school reports on consumersm, magazine and newspaper clippings, and other publications. Subjects include adult education and extension services, CR's assistance to pedagogues and pedagogy, CR's aid in consumer courses, information for papers on CR and the consumer movement, CR's relations with libraries and social agencies, student theses and reports, Charles S. Wyand's thesis, and use of CR materials in colleges and secondary schools. Also included are slides and slideshow scripts for programs relating to bicycle safety, deceptive packaging, food additives, home safety, testing at CR, and other subjects.
