Henry Clay Burbank papers, 1858-1894.

Newspaper articles, letters, and related materials dealing mainly with Burbank's business and financial interests, particularly the forwarding, storage, and wholesale grocery business of James C. and H. C. Burbank, St. Paul and St. Cloud (1857-1870); an account book of expenses incurred in building and furnishing Burbank's St. Cloud home (1863-1872), including memoranda on personal property, stocks, livestock, lands, and farm equipment; and a shipping ledger (1870) for Wilder, Burbank & Company's government express and forwarding business. The collection also contains an autobiographical sketch of Burbank (1891).
