Letter to Andrew Adams discussing the resignation of General Philip Schuyler. Schuyler resigned in the wake of congressional inquiries as to his competence. Pierce laments the disorganization and confusion resulting from the resignation. Pierce also feels that Schuyler was unjustly accused and treated.
