Winds-aloft computation sheets, 1967-1974.

These reports track the wind direction and speed twice daily in the Louisville, Kentucky area, recorded through the observations of drifting balloons. Included are minute by minute calculations of elevation angles, distance from observation points, azimuth angles, and velocity and direction that the balloon traveled.

From 1947 until 1970, the official observations of weather in Boulder were made under the direction of the Boulder fire chief, at the central fire station.
